Andrea Jeremiah
Andrea Maria Jeremiah works as an Indian playback actress, singer and musician. The majority of her work comes focused on Tamil or Malayalam films. She made her acting debut with the Tamil movie Pachaikili Muthucharam and also made her Malayalam debut with Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah was born into an Anglo-Indian Family in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Andrea Jeremiah's father is a lawyer in the Madras High Court. Her older sister is who is a resident of Leuven Belgium working as a Research Assistant. Jeremiah was raised near Chennai and attended National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea began playing the piano classically in her 8th year. She sang in The Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars when she was 10. The group was the beginning of the foundation for her music and singing career. She was also a theatre student at her school and was a part of several stage plays organised by The Madras Players and EVAM. Andrea was president of the Student Senate at Women's Christian College. Andrea's stage career started with the play of Girishkarnad Nagamandala. She was featured in the Leo Coffee commercial alongside Shiva. In 2006, she appeared in a show that was shown on Podhigai. She's performed all across India. There was a brief appearance on the Kanda Mudhal final (2005). Gautham Menon asked Andrea be the main character following her performance. she sang in Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. Andrea was Kalyani the housewife whose husband has an extramarital affair. Andrea was chosen to play Kalyani when Simran Shobana, Tabu and others were offered the role. The movie was announced in the early part of 2010. In 2011, she agreed to perform a tiny support role in Venkatprabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha, which came out in August 2011. Annayum Rasoolum directed by Rajeeev Ravi, the romantic comedy film she made her debut in Malayalam by releasing on the 11th of August, 2013.
