Born from Rochester, New York, Sharp was an avid musician and was a clarinet player, piano, and cello at the prestigious Hochstein School of Music. Sharp's enthusiasm for performing in high school brought her to Boston Conservatory, where she was given the scholarship. Cum Laude awarded Sharp a B.F.A. Sharp's initial focus was on the stage. Sharp performed in The Broadway National Tour of Carousel. She debuted Off Broadway with Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. Sharp also played 8 roles in the comedy interactive Eat the Runt. Sharp was also in Abyssinia and Aida in addition to Thunder Knockin, Jitney as well as The Producers. She was even a reader of August Wilson's Come and Gone. In addition to her work in stage and screen, Sharp has several other creative projects that she's co-written or written. Sharp performs and is currently working on a full length album. If she's not in front of cameras, or working in a studio to record songs, Sharp has a love for fitness, and is always in fitness classes and learning Krav Maga.. She likes piano as well along with hiking, and taking long roadstrips. Sharp lives with her husband and children and lives in Los Angeles.
